DO THE DUNK! For the past 27 years, thousands of plungers have jumped into the icy waters of Deep Creek Lake all in support of Special Olympics Maryland - Garrett County. The Dunker dedication to athletes and Unified® teammates is impactful and has created countless inclusion experiences across the state of Maryland. Entry Fee: $20 Donation to Special Olympics Maryland

Join us for a wine and beer tasting event to kick-off Dunk weekend. You won’t want to miss the Honi Honi House Band at 8:00pm. The band consists of a rotating collection of local artists and musician

By participating in the Deep Creek Dunk, you are helping to provide year-round sports and leadership programs for athletes and Unified® teammates of Special Olympics Maryland. Your donation will support the sports and leadership programs offered throughout the state. Special Olympics Maryland programs are FREE to athletes and families thanks to generous community supporters who believe in the Special Olympics mission: to give our athletes opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
